I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Wash U's Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology program. I obtained my Masters in Philosophy at Louisiana State University and graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies that focused on philosophy and psychology, with a minor in cognitive science. I utilize a hardcore naturalistic approach to understanding humanity's place in the universe. Moreover, by emphasizing the social and linguistic dimensions of human cognition and consciousness, I hope to update phenomenological concepts in light of recent research in the cognitive sciences. I am also interested in reviving Julian Jaynes’ neglected theory of bicamerality and consciousness by integrating it with phenomenological insights along with modern research in neuropsychology, philosophy of cognitive science, archaeology, and anthropology.
